Anthems 4 Javelins (Storm, Interceptor, Ranger and Colossus) Using the jetpack mechanic

Anthem has been out for 6 days and out of those 6 days I have only played it for 2 which is why this is a pre-review.

This review will include no story spoilers but may spoil in game content.

Set on an unnamed planet, players assume the role of a Freelancer, a faction of heroic adventurers who wear powerful exosuits known as javelins to defend humanity from the threats beyond the walls of their cities. The title refers to the Anthem of Creation, a powerful and mysterious force responsible for creating most of the extraordinary technology, phenomena, and hazards in the world. In the main campaign, the player's character is tasked with stopping a villain named The Monitor from seizing control of the Anthem for nefarious ends.

anthem had been in development for 6 years and in certain areas it seems it was only in development for maybe 2 years at best, on the surface anthem is a looter shooter like destiny or borderlands but an unpolished one at that. maybe its due to the game dropping frames or the sudden disappearance of enemies but if you can look past those issues anthem is a really fun game and is worth every penny.

most review sites gave anthem a rating of anywhere from 1-7 out of 10 however those reviews don't do the game justice, like I always say don't trust other review sites (especially ign)
